WHO WE ARE
Concertante, an international academy where we put/do the art of music available to everyone.
We believe that the approach to music education should be a positive experience, especially in younger students. Music should be a rewarding experience for them and has to encourage and help them to develop aspects such as the expressiveness, autonomy and sociability. By the contrary, we know that a rigid, boring and uncommunicative musical education will carry them to move away from this discipline.
In our academy, specialised in stringed instruments, we apply an active teaching method that encourages students to make music before learning theory, through playful activities that stimulate interest and participation. Our students learn the theoretical elements directly with the instrument, in a natural way.
Behind the curtains of Concertante you can find Raul Gimenez and Assunto Nese. Both musicians have joined their pedagogical experience with the intention of making a music school that offers a complete training to their students. On one hand, those who are new in the study of music and on the other hand, professionals who need to improve.
