Target audience:
Singing students, choir singers and singers of all levels and conditions.
Objectives
- Acquire and consolidate the bases of respiratory technique for singing.
- Work on body awareness by applying it to breathing and singing.
- Develop the sense of proprioception (perception of oneself)
- Apply respiratory work to the individual and collective repertoire.
Course subjects:
- Respiratory and vocal technique
– Instinctive gestures of the body during breathing
– Natural air support of the body
– Construction of the body that breathes and sings
- Interpretation of individual repertoire
- Interpretation of collective repertoire.
Course dynamics
- Joint respiratory and vocal technique class
- Individual repertoire and vocal technique classes
- Joint common singing class.
- Students must bring two works of their own choice to work on individually. If none are available, the organization will provide them.
- The joint repertoire will consist of simple choral pieces that the organization will provide to those registered.
- Final concert of the course at the Concertante Academy.
